Those looking to dine indoors at Macchialina may do so by booking the Bestia dinner series curated by James Beard semifinalist chef Michael Pirolo. For now, therestaurant is booking two reservations for the dining room each evening, giving each party an opportunity to have the entire place to themselves.
Dubbed Bestia for its family-style format that focuses on whole fish, fowl, or meat, the culinary feast is carefully curated by chef Pirolo, who's excited to showcase the full range of his skills with each meal. Each meal begins with a full bread service by Macchialina's house baker, Alix Furjanic, who prepares naturally leavened focaccia, sourdough country loaf, and bread sticks served with a brown butter tomato spread.
An all Italian focused wine list curated by beverage director Jacqueline Pirolo features boutique growers and an inventive cocktail program which complete the convivial vibe of this unique experience.
Guests are asked to choose between the fish or meat menu when booking. Bestia dinners serve four to twenty guests.
